September 27, 2009 marked the one year anniversary for Ryan and I! I can't believe it has only been a year...it feels like we have been together much longer! I guess that's what love will do to you!
To celebrate our Anniversary we did several fun things! We went to the Sugarland concert, Ray's On The River and Spa Sydell!
Saturday night we went the Sugarland concert at the Verizon amphitheater. Sugarland is one of my favorite bands so I was overly excited to be going! Despite the rain and wet grounds we had so much fun! We danced and sang the night away. While we were there we met up with my friend Kris and some of her friends so that made it even more fun!
Sunday morning we had brunch at Ray's On The River. Our original plan was to go back to our first date spot, Canoe but it was completely flooded and closed for business! So instead we went to Ray's On The River and it was delicious! Our table was right by a huge window that overlooked the river and pretty landscape in the back. Ryan and I went up the buffet 3 times! There was just too much food to choose from...they had an omelet station, every type of breakfast food, fish, pastas, and an entire room with nothing but desserts! yummmmy! After brunch we went on a short walk by the river before heading back for our massage!
After brunch we came back to Ryan's apartment to hang out and before we knew it, it was time for our couples massage! This was only my second massage and this was Ryan's first! I thought this would be the perfect way for us to completely unwind and forget about everything else going on in our lives! We went to Spa Sydell and overall had a great experience! The massage was fabulous. Ryan really enjoyed it and that made me happy!
We had a great anniversary weekend! We talked about where we were one year ago and where we see our relationship going. I love Ryan with every ounce of my being. I have never loved another the way I do him. He makes me so happy!!!
